--site under construction-- I’m an energetic, quick thinker who enjoys discovering and understanding the intricacies of life. My personality can be described as honest, outgoing, and genuinely curious. I’ve always been one to freely share ideas and enjoy brainstorming with others (MBTI: ENTP). I was drawn to software development after graduating college and started to self-study web development and RoR. Since then, I have completed a code boot-camp, learned other languages, and built many projects. Currently, I’m pursuing a B.A.S. in computer science with the intention of applying for a master’s program in the near future.

My favorite tools

Take a look at some of my favorite tools

Cloud9

I love Linux. I really do! Unfortunatley, running it natively isn't always easy or feasable.

Thats why I adore Cloud9. Basically a virtual, off-site Linux environment I can access anywhere. Amazing!

Git

Think of Git as a structured way to develop and test software. It allows developers to create new branches and test them before merging them into the master code. Not only that, but Git also allows you to push code onto off-site repositories like Github (I'm a fan of the "cloud").

Twitter's Bootstrap

Front-end development is not my favorite. Fortunately, Twitter's Bootstrap takes a lot of the pain out of HTML. Bootstrap is a sleek, customizable front-end framework that is easy to configure. However, I have been eyeing Google's material design...

Heroku

Another cloud application! This time, hosting is the name of the game, and Heroku is the winner. At its most basic level Heroku is a free place for me to host my projects. Integration with Github and other tools make this service invaluable.

We are what we repeatedly do; excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
